If you put yourself in their shoes you know then the fights wouldnt happen. I give credit to Maravilla and esp Dawson. Its not like they're in a huge disadvantage like Marquez was vs Floyd.
Outside of stricter testing, there's nothing Sergio could do to mitigate his disadvantages. One of his advisers will watch Jr. get his hands wrapped, and crowd noise can always be silenced by beating the favorite. Dawson brought his challenges on himself. He volunteered to to down to 168. Nothing new for martnez.He earned fans on the eastcoast.He's always fighting in other backyards so the crowd won't be too much of a factor .Advantage wise , who knows what trick martinez might have up his sleeve.

i love dawson, but he will weigh the same or more than ward fight night, martinez needs to come in heavy but not too heavy. even still 170-175 and martinez will be like 188

Very interesting topic. It may very well end up being their undoing. I don't like the fact that Matinez didn't make JCC undergo random drug testing and I don't like the fact that Dawson didn't ask for a catchweight of atleast 170.
