All Dawson does is come in throw a few flashy looking combos that usually hit gloves and arms then goes missing for a while and rinse repeat.

He's a predictable fast hands boxer who will always suffer being pressured.

In order to be great you need more than one or two strings to your bow.

That's a fairly unequivocal statement.

It seems that you don't actually mean that, you just mean that he's beaten 'more' opposition at LHW. That's not the same as 'better' at all.

 

This is one of the great mysteries. It's like some people think that P4P ratings are handicapped for age or something.

And they don't realise the simple truth that beating someone who past their prime, in their forties and ranked P4P fourth in the world is comparatively exactly as impressive as beating someone who is in their absolute prime and ranked P4P fourth in the world.

 

Good to see him talk a bit, he has been quiet for a while, if you want to make your mark in this sport you NEED to be a talker, especially these days.

Hope he gets the attention he deserves in the long run, the man has the tools.
