I remember the last time I chewed gum. It was because I was mentally distraught and/or weight drained. What it definitely wasn't because was I felt like chewing gum, or wanted fresh breath or anything.

I used to spit out saliva on the way to the weigh ins in fear I would come in slightly over, doubt it would make a difference thinking about it now.

I duno about all this spitting out saliva talk but chewing gum is said to aid in diet as it tricks the body into not pining for food or something like that. If Dawson did get dropped by Miranda it'll be coz he is drained though imo. Miranda looked shot last time I saw him.
