Dawson declined catchweight so he could keep his belt?

    I just heard a conversation on youtube between 78fightnews and a "boxing insider" :yep, and he said that Dawson declined the catchweight and decided to come down himself so he could keep his belt in case he lost.

    Does anybody have any source for this?

    Makes sense .The fight is at Wards weight ,is his belts on the line as well ?

    His belt might not be on the line but the weight should have nothing to do with that. they are fighting below the 175 limit so in theory they should have is strap up for grabs as well. But this is boxing and with all of the politics who in the **** knows:bart
