The thing with Bernard is he has trouble with fast fighters. A Kelly Pavlik is slow and Bernard can pot shot him. But Chad gets slow and stands there at times and if he does that Hopkins will to a Pac man on him!
Dawson is still running from Glen Johnson who beat his arse, almost had him knocked out. Dawson refuses to fight Johnson for a very good reason.
Yes Dawson dissapoints but still i'm not fan of him so almost everytime he dispaoint me, but but just to make one point Tarver chin is no joke either.
Glen Johnson beat the crap out of Dawson. Dawson has been avoiding Johnson for a long time now. Hopkins would beat Dawson.
Yeah, Johnson had Dawson out on his feet, almost knocked him out. Fans want to see Dawson fight Johnson again, but Dawson is avoiding him. Why?
They dont coast because they would rather be hitting their opponent. Dawson would take time off and look bored. At the very least he could have looked like he was enjoying himself. He didnt, he looked completely lackdasical. And even when he was throwing combos, where the is fire? He is throwing to score points, to win rounds. You know the saying "its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog"? If dawson was a dog, he would be a big and fast dog, but with little to no "fight" in him.
Whenever Tarver would throw punches he did well, but he did almost nothing, Dawson was not much better.
Dawson is not avoiding him, he said that's willing to fight anyone, and HBO is backing it up. They were also willing to back up Dawson-Calzaghe, so what they say matters, despite what Dawson's manager or promoter says, and there is really no other option, unless opportunity presents itself for Dawson without losing credibility.
Dawson was fighting somebody he was familiar with, so he did what he to do to win because of Tarver's style. And what f**king fire are you talking about? The fire was there because his intent was to knock Tarver out and score points dumb ass. He's not going to just throw punches to trade.
The Johnson fiasco is one hell of a stain on Dawson's record and his character. After nearly losing to an old and declining journeyman boxer, Dawson has the gall to say that everything went according to plan. So, in other words, he planned to look bad and nearly lose the fight! :nut Not all fights can be made. In any case, Dawson had to say he wanted a rematch, even if he didn't. It was the only possible way to keep in reputation intact.
By watching his fights. What Hopkins did to Johnson, Dawson could have done also if he had made the effort.
