He is a powderpuff puncher and he sucks. He does not have killer instinct.

If Adamek didn't have an iron chin he would have gotten knocked out. You should have seen what Dawson did to Eric Harding, it was brutal. You also have to remember he was about to knock out Pascal when he knew he was losing the fight. When Dawson puts his punches together he can be dangerous.

But for some reason after the Adamek fight he's underperformed and underachieved.

The point is Dawson can put a beating on an opponent, and unlike Calzaghe Dawson doesn't need to slap with his punches. Why don't you reach watch round 11 between Dawson and Pascal.

 

He can. No doubt about that. But he lets opponent off the hook even when they got them beat. He does not have a killer instinct. He puts his brakes on the wrong time.

 

Still I believe that he was going to stop Pascal if it wasn't for the cut. I never been to high on him anyway and to ditch one of the greatest trainers the way he did is disgraceful. Many said that he just stopped answering his calls...

I'm not suggesting that at all moron, but Calzaghe does slap and he did a lot of it against Hopkins. Dawson doesn't need to slap yet his handspeed is just as fast as Calzaghe's.

 

He was measured just over 800lbs of force with his hardest punch in that "sports science" show. That's nothing to write home about but still more as enough to be able to KO a grown man.

But he won't KO Hopkins, and the odds on that will show that.

 

Where are all these people?

I think Dawson will win but I don't see many, if any, saying he'll knock him out.
