I predict Dawson will stop Hopkins. Possibly late.

You don't struggle with a Diaconu in one fight then knock out a Hopkins in your next fight atsch

Dawson himself. According to him, Hopkins has zero chance to win. Like Pascal had zero chance to win.

Dawson is so stupid he probably doesn't remember he said the exact words just before losing to a guy he was supposed to beat.

Cant hide how I feel about the fight. I think Dawson has the right attributes to keep Hopkins on the outside and smother him. Just hope Chad comes with the right mindset. Its a pity that Stewards is gone so short before the fight though.

And probably I hope for Bernard to get old over night too.

I can see a Dawson win but not by KO. Dawson has everything he needs to beat Hopkins. The question is: can Hopkins **** his mind and his gameplan? I don't have the answer.

 

He didn't struggle with Diaconu...He easily won the fight.

 

Chad just refuses to put punches together. He could stop Hopkins, but Bernard's mind games will probably put him in his one punch at a time shell.

*Truth is, Dawson is his own worse enemy. he has all the tools, sometimes he uses them..sometimes he doesn't... to say he can KO B-Hop isn't too far fetched..i'm guessing it's gunna be a UD, but if he KO's Hop,it wouldn't surprise me one bit... B-Hop has been hurt afew times in his last couple of fights... and he's 46yrs old... If Dawson brings his whole arsenal.. no reason why he can't Ko Hop.

 

Did you watch the fight Dawson was on his way to knocking out Pascal before the headbutt, even Emmanel Steward and Hopkins mentions this. He lost the fight because he lost the other previous rounds, but that's not the point, the point is Dawson has power and speed.

 

Dawson does not have a glass jaw. He went toe to toe with Glen Johnson and was never knocked down. Allen Green was knocked out by by Johnson in 8 rounds.

He took Jean Pascal's best shots and was never even close to being knocked down. So how does Dawson have a glass jaw?

 

Dawsonisn't a hard puncher ...wasn't @168, so obviously he had no punch to carry over..
