DAWSON-HOPKINS rematch

Dawson wide UD. Bernard won't be able to handle Chad's handspeed
or footspeed, or his length and physical strength

 

I really think they should not be allowed to fight, both elite fighters in their division but their styles mesh so unbelievebly poorly that it can only endup in a massive stinker.

At his current age Hopkins need a aggressive come forward type of fighter. (preferebly with not too extreme volume)

I actually did not hate that fight just because i was rather impressed how Hopkins shut down Wright completely.
No offense to Dawson who is a fine fighter in his own right but i think Wright is about 5x the warrior that he is.

Dawson just seems to have the personality of a common potted plant and fights accordingly .... i just never see any fire from him.
Hopkins needs someone that brings the fight out of him much like Pascal.

Why i like Cloud, hes a dangerous fighter and a legit threat but i feel Hopkins could have a entertaining fight with him.

Chad will win, if Hopkins takes it as the fight goes down the stretch. He will do something, whether its faking an injury or fighting dirty. Dawson always was going to win this fight straight up. Hes a bad matchup for Hopkins at anytime, now hopkins has no chance.

 

and that's the intangibility with Dawson, no one ever criticizes his
physical abilities. Its always his attitude. Dawson matches or exceeds
Bernard in every physical ability (not mental of course). If focused he's a hard guy to match. I think the fight would've turned lopsided. Truthfully
Bernard can make money much easier fighting Cloud,Shumenov,Cleverly
etc....and retire healthy. He should stay clear of Dawson or Sillakh though
I'd love to see either take the crown from him.

 

Hopkins won't fight him.

And if he does, look for another acting job as Hopkins flails around complaining of fouls looking for free points.

If they fight, and it's on the level, Dawson wins EASY.

That was always going to be the case. Which is why I don't think Hopkins will fight him again. He got his payday of that ppv fight for the last one.

 

got a feeling hopkins might have finally gone over that edge and should have retired after the 2nd Pascal fight on top of the world with nothing to prove. i pick dawson to win big, by wide UD or possibly even stoppage by actually upping his output with b-hop unable to go 12 at that pace. dawson is the most skilled fighter in the division aside from b-hop....he's mad underated and easily the best at 175 imo.

This rematch will not happen though, don't think b-hop liked what he felt in there with dawson last time.
