Decent fight. Maybe Bute will finally accept Pascals offer, he's made like 5 of them.

 

He could have crush Pascal but lose to him , Chad is the kind of boxer who will win fight but could have done more.

He's more an athlete then a boxer

 

To be honest I have no idea why Bute-Pascal didn't happen years ago. Why didn't this fight happen?

 

Bute will beat Ward and Pascal will beat Dawson again :yep

I love both boxer (pascal-Bute) and i can tell you that Pascal always calling Bute when Bute already got something planned.

Yesterday in a tv show they were asking Bute if he would want to fight Stevenson Bute told that he prefer to face Pascal since Pascal he's more known.

 

He lost to Pascal due to a cut, anyone who knows boxing saw Dawson getting in his ass before the stoppage.

They were turning that fight around big time, and EMM had lit a fire under Dawson that was going to completely engulf Pascal in flames.

Dawson-Pascal II is not a bad fight, it really isn't.. but Dawson-Ward is a mega fight with the best LHW against the very best SMW on the planet, we couldn't realistically ask for more than that.

 

Pascal has said time and again that him and his team offered interbox and Bute to fight numerous times, and they ALWAYS neglected him.

 

Quebec is a small market (7 millions) so both organisations (Gym and Ibox) want to keep building it , i'm scared it will only happen when both ill be shot. Pascal and Bute can fill the place so they don't see no rush to put them togheter right now.

I'm probably the only one who doesn't want to see that fight though

 

The problem with that strategy is that Pascal will beat Dawson again and Bute will beat Ward.

You can pull for your hometown fighters all you want, I respect that.

But both Dawson and Ward will be overwhelming favorites to take it down, buddy. They're the legitimate champions at LHW and SMW, and this fight is hot right now, HBO will be all over that fight.

Dawson - Ward aint a megafight, no one cares about those two because of their boring styles. Dawson isn't the best LHW, Pascal won the head to head and until further notice he's the best LHW.

Dawson took to much time to start boxing. He didn't had any emotion in this fight , he woke up too late and pay for it! i was there ringside BTW and the journalist in front of me said i won one round for Pascal i was yelling at every shot Pascal was throwing like it would have land to influence the judges


But i agree with you that Ward-Dawson his one of the best fight to be made with Pbf-Pac , too sad both of them doesn't have a big fan base , Ward would make more money fighting Bute an establishe himself as the real no 1 at 168 , and Dawson would never have more peoples in the seaat that if he facve Pascal IMO

I doubt that either one of those guys will be "overwhelming favorites". Dawson already lost to Pascal and depending on the manner of Bute's win over Froch, both of those guys will either be slight favorites or even underdogs going into those respective fights.

 

Ward is already the established #1 at SMW.

He does not need Bute remotely as much as Bute needs him. Ward-Dawson is a mega event with the best of two weight classes facing one another, regardless of what you think.

HBO is all over that fight.

 

I'm not dismissive of Bute, he's a good fighter, but an unproven boxer. His fight with Froch will tell a great deal about him.

The fact that Ward is the man at SMW is not a knock on Bute, its just the truth.
