if u can create that best style to beat hopkins, u would create chad dawson basically. size, height, length, speed, foot speed, jab, boxing skills, combos and defensive. hopkins a smart guy he know he dont stand a chance.

all he got is experience, I.Q and mental toughness but the thing that really shook him up in the first is the fact a mentally strong dawson showed up. chad had fire in his eyes and was looking for a knock out. hop said **** this and found a way out.

hop always dodged him and was forced to fight him to get a rematch with pascal. hop know this might the end for him, he got hurt against pascal the first fight, when dawson hurt him hes not gonna let hopkins get back in the fight

agreed. Bhop wants no parts of dawson. its a high risk-low reward type of fight. im convinced that he found a way out of the first fight. hes only taking this rematch cuz hes been backed into a corner. respect to Bhop for taking it. i have a funny feeling this might be the fight that retires him. but NEVER count out BHOP :deal

me to but he do got the experience. the thing that scare b-hop the most was the fact that chad was mentally tough...that was his ace in the hole. he lost confidence seen he seen the fire and ambition chad had

Always? Hopkins is fifty years old.. He would of whooped Chads ass ten years ago, now hes gonna decision that passive, new age "slick" youngster.. Dawson doesn't have the power, activity, it the type of hands to deal with Hops..

dawson being a difficult opponent for an old Hopkins has to do with him simply being a younger guy who's got decent fundamentals and doesn't have glaring technical flaws like Pascal and Pavlik. nothing to do with having the best style to beat Hopkins.

Even now hes gonna lose a decision.. But probably a close one due to Hopkins increasingly diminishing speed, reflexes and accuracy.. But even this Hopkins will be able to target Dawson through his weak defense.. Dawson biggest asset iss his inactivity, the less you throw, the less you leave.. He will try and beast the old man, but will play right into the old mans hands and eat straight rights all night..

    You cant write Hopkins off.

And i cant see him faking an injury in the first fight, only to beg for a rematch, and then get one. It simply doesnt make sense.

If Anything Dawsons actions were the actions of a man who didnt want a rematch.

He didnt have to fight him and doesnt have to fight him in the rematch. If he wanted to he could have avoided him. He doesnt need belts at this point in his career, he can fight whoever he wants to fight. Period.
