This thread sucks and is full of trolls. Yeah wins over Johnson, Tarver, and Adamek over the last 2 years really suck.

I don't wanna hear that crap about Johnson getting robbed either. Getting robbed is clearly losing 7 rounds in a fight you don't get KD in. Dawson/Johnson does not fall in that category especially in defense of Dawson. The haters just use whatever they can trying do discredit an undefeated champion cause that is all they got against him. A close fight he won.

People don't know the meaning of the word "robbed" around here and use the word far too much.

 

agreed anyone who thinks calzaghe would WIPE the floor with Dawson is either biased or just ignorant....Dawson is younger bigger stronger and just as fast...it would be a fight I would love to see...not so sure calzaghe would ever want to see it though

 

Who are you again? Look...Chad needs to continue doing what he is doing in order to get the kind of status he is eager to get. By beating Johnson albiet contreversail and completey outclassing Tarver doesen't exactly warrant a "NOBODY" status now does it? Sure he's still green and young but he's doing the right things...at this stage in Joe's career he was still beating up the locals in his back yard. Dawson is calling out Joe for the simple fact that Joe is considered the top guy in the division Chad wants to be KING in.....Nothing wrong with Chad showing balls to want to face the best, right? Or should he be calling out that clown mandatory Diaconi or what ever his name is. Chad deserves to fight anther champion.

it was a good fight in which dawson gassed a bit but won...johnson is no joke and it was dawsons first step up at a young age...he would win a rematch convincingly

I tend to only talk about subjects I know well, like the history of Dawson's shameless ducking of Diaconu. That would seem to be a concept you're not familiar with, but would do well to learn, 'King' Dan.

I know Sad Chad's residing in Connect-I-Cut. I get the nuthugging on your part. No worries. But you can't let your emotions get in the way of the facts, or reality. I used to do that all the time with my writings and predictions on the sport, but I have since learned better. You may want to think about doing the same thing.

Chad has excellent speed and skill. He also has atrocious defense, a poor chin, a tendency to slack off during fights and not a ton of power. He's being overhyped, and is headed for a bad fall. Like Cotto, or Jermain Taylor. And that's one reason Showtime and his team are running away from Diaconu and his left hook. Smart move, but a transparent one as well.

To be completely honest Chad in order to be ducking someone would have to present some kind or form of a "Threat".....with all due respect Diaconu isn't exactly Tarver or johonson...two LWH greats that a young Chad has already disposed of. Diaconu is what he is....a solid professional but there is no need to take a few steps back to face an opponent like Diaconu who isn't close to being on level with Chad.
