Hop clearly doesn't really want it against Chad, and will likely get beat up like he's never been beat up before. I see a one-sided beatdown at the hands of Dawson.

Hopkins will take Dawson apart with his patented right hand lead / headlock combination

Nope. It's Dawson's fault. He threw Hopkins to the ground, He injured his shoulder. I dont blame B-hop at all. And Hopkins will UD him.

I think he will. I picked Dawson to win the first fight.

Its Dawson's fight on the outside. Hopkins has to find a way of getting inside and dragging Dawson into a fight. I dont think at his age he will be able to sustain an aggressive approach where you have to be consistent.

The first round showed me that Hopkins is fully capable of dictating the pace and making Dawson miss.
I actually gave the first round to Hopkins because Dawson landed jack ****.
I am worried about the later rounds because it was obvious that Hopkins was troubled with Dawsons physical strength.

Before the first fight i though that Dawson will just give up, ala Tarver after the first four or five rounds, but i am not so sure of it anymore.

Hopkins UD in a really though fight. I think Dawson might get a KD.

I'm confident that Dawson will win to much hand speed but never write bhop off

if Dawson wins, it'll be an extremely boring fight, he'll jab the whole 12 rounds and won't allow B-Hop near him

Before the first fight I always had Dawson beating this older version of Hopkins and nothing that happened in the first fight has changed my mind on that. Hopkins is not getting any younger and his hand speed has clearly declined. Compare his speed to when he beat Tarver to his last 3 or 4 fights and you can see a clear decline in speed.

I was surprised how timid Dawson was in the 2 rounds we saw in the first fight so I think Hopkins will at least be competitive but it won't be enough to win. Though I hope Hopkins can prove me wrong again and beat Dawson.

i think dawson wins this, and i picked him in the first fight.
the main question mark over chad dawson, in the first fight, was his mental approach to it, weather he'd let his hands go, or weather he'd show bernard too much respect, fight cautious, and let hopkins bully him out of the fight.
and as the great teddy atlas said, once a fighter gets brave, he does'nt become scared again.
this is the exucutioners last song.

ya he clearly doesnt really want it but accepted a rematch he didn't have to make at all. mmm hmmm, and dawson aint abusin ****, he can beat hopkins by decision on workrate alone, but he isn't going to beat him up or hurt him. Dawson will need to be more active for a good 8 rounds to get a decision as well. Dawson isn't an up and coming heavy hitting Jermain Taylor, a close fight in this instance will go to hopkins.I don't think dawson is mentally capable and in the mid rounds when hopkins starts to pull out some of his tricks I think dawson can't handle it and hopkins ends up taking a close decision. Dawson has the talent though and physical tools to win, same way he had the talent and physical tools to beat pascal.
