Dawson is running from Cunningham

  1. I thought with all the American's calling Kessler a chicken for not fighting Dawson this was prudent if only to emphasize the audacity of their desperation to find a hero.

Yes, I am singling out Americans and being nationalistic. Why? Because it's clear they're not actually in this to see great fights their one agenda is simply to belittle every non usa fighter while trying to build a legacy for their guy by getting him to fight people below his weight class (not even taking into account the fact a 40 year old in his own weight class beat him).

Plus didn't many also say Kessler's a fraud so why would you even care about this fight?

Beating people a full weight class below you for a legacy reminds me of another certain American boxer (although that boxer is still good) + stinks of desperation.

Let's see Hopkins vs dawson I say. Beating Tarver and getting beaten by johnson is no accomplishment nor will be beating a fighter below your class either.

I think those new claims of somebody ducking someone from another division ist just plain and simple bull****. People are supposed to fight the fighters of their division. Moving up or down in weight is not a normal thing. :bart

I totally agree - two different weight classes! Cunningham coming down to 175? come on - Cunningham should be cleaning up his division, and graduate to the heavyweight division.

    Let's see Dawson-Johnson II i say, before talking about Dawson-Hopkins, Dawson-Calzaghe or Dawson-Kessler.

I have no problem with Team Kessler coming out and saying they want no parts of Dawson. What annoys me are the Kessler fans who still insist that Kessler would knock Dawson out. Kessler would do nothing of the sort. His team coming out and saying Dawson is too big is proof of this.

Dawson would put Cunningham to sleep....

but seriously, who has Cunningham beat??

he hasn't fought any of the top heads at 200lbs.....Mormeck, Bell, Haye, Enzo - he avoided them all

58% pick Kessler to beat Dawson at 175. So Kessler has made it known that he is willing to move up to 175, most on this board pick him to beat Dawson at 175, yet people have a problem with posters on this forum getting on Kessler for turning down this fight.

Monstar, this is a completely bull**** statement. Cunningham was Bell's mando and Bell gave up his belt rather than face him. King tried to match Cunningham with Mormeck and Mormeck didn't want the fight. Enzo is a joke and Haye was in no postion to fight Cunningham until after he beat Enzo. Cunningham said he wanted the winner of the Haye/Enzo bout but Haye chose to move up instead. Also, Wlodarczyk, Jones, and Hauck are all top 10 Cruiserweights. Rothmann and Davis are solid contenders as well.

if thats true then i take it back, but either way....he doesn't have a single fighter on his resume that equals an Enzo, Mormeck, or Bell

looks like he's been cherrypicking to me either that or his people made some horrible choices for him.....either way, he's untested as an elite in his division

but we'll see how good he is after he fights Adamek....

Other way around. He called all of them out, none of them would fight him. Rightfully so - he's not a draw and he's dangerous. If he beats Adamek, he should be able to get some more top names, although I don't pick him to beat Adamek.

25 lb difference vs 7 lb difference, yes it all makes sense.

Not to mention Dawson can easily cut a few pounds to meet at a catchweight.

    GTFO troll ;)

Well you can't rate Calzaghe's win over Jones very highly as these 2 both KO'd a better version of Jones :yep
