The long awaited and eagerly anticipated rematch between undefeated two-time light heavyweight champion CHAD DAWSON and former world champion GLEN JOHNSON is on. Promoted by Gary Shaw Productions, DiBella Entertainment and Seminole Warriors Boxing, Dawson-Johnson II will be broadcast live on HBO World Championship Boxing in the fall. The site and date will be formally announced shortly.

    Great news.
This was the most important fight for Chad right now and I'm glad he's giving the fans what they want.
I expect this fight to be similar to the first one - and I'm picking Dawson to win another close decision.
Johnson will do damage with his body punches and it should be competative the whole way. I just think Chad's speed and boxing skill will be enough.

Wow. The lightheavyweight division is a joke. I am still laughing at people that are screaming that Calzaghe and Hopkins are ducking Dawson.

I couldn't think of a more boring division in boxing.

Dawson by a slightly bigger margin; 117-111, erasing the controversy and setting up a megabout with Adrian Diaconu...

Negative. Now that Vitali is back, Haye is stirring things up and we may soon get to see Valuev killed in the ring - things are looking up.

Still no division is worse than HW.

Im glad Johnson's getting another shot, but I think Dawson will beat him more convincingly than the first time. Its probably gonna be like the mayweather-castillo fights

Dawson is obviously the man at 175, while Johnson is a bit on the fade. Not so you'd notice it with your average light-heavyweight, but Dawson will beat him more convincingly this time.
But , most likely it will be boring, just like Dawson-Tarver II.

That's what I think too, Dawson by UD by showing the right adjustments needed to win the fight clearer than last time out.

Good Chad by decision is my initial pick, but if the Tarver rematch is an indicator for Dawson's performances in rematches, he's losing.
