Lacy was a champion, he came over to another country to fight another champion and lost. He was soundly beat by a better boxer but why does the guy get soo much flak for putting it on the line?

Where did you read that they fight the same way? Read the first post again ****** without jumping to conclusion.

Dawson would turn Calzaghe's lights out in six. It's not even a fair fight. Dawson's way longer so Joe would have to fight inside. He'd get killed. Dawson is 6'3" and powerful. Joey slaps and throws wide. It would be a slaughter. Joe doesn't have the strength of Johnson to take all the punishment from the combos Dawson throws constantly.

Do you remember Batman Begins? When Batman gets told "You have to become more than a man...you have to become an idea!."?

Unfortunately, that's happened with Lacy, and not in a good way. Now the only thing people remember is the hype followed outclassing, to the point where he actually gets used as a verb now. It's probably close to getting added to the dictionary.

I do think it's bull**** because Lacy never quit in the fight, and most of the backlash is due to other people hyping the **** out of him. I'm pretty sure Eddie Murphy still holds it against Jeff for losing. Truth be told, I actually like Lacy and I'd like to see him bounce back. He was still an exciting fighter pre-Calzaghe, and didn't come off as a bad guy at all.

Dumbass, have you ever seen Dawson fight? His SKILLS are superior to Calslappy's lousy technique. Joe would get killed. LMAO. Joe wouldn't go anywhere near a fight with Dawson. He's not an idiot.

Alright, last post to ya tonight six-year old. Dawson isn't Lacy. He isn't muscle bound. He is LONG. He throws hard combos, over and over again. He is athletic. He took bombs from Johnson. He would KILL Calzaghe .. by KO. Joe can't win from the outside. Joe gets laid out fighting on the inside with the MUCH harder punching Dawson. If you can't see that ... then there isn't anything else to say. Joe will never SIGN to fight the 25 year old. It would be suicide.

Well as Joe is undefeated i cannot see how you come to this conclusion. Outside, inside hes forgotten more styles than Dawson will ever know.
