Johnson beat the crap out of Dawson, but was cheated by the criminal judges. He had Dawson out on his feet, a good reason Dawson is still running from him. Johnson deserves a rematch and the fans deserve it also. Johnson Vs. Dawson, let's see it now!

I scored the fight a draw. I like to see a rematch aswell. There is nobody really at Lightheavy to fight, this seems like the most sensible fight unless Dawson moves down.

I agree, close fight, but it showed Dawson grit toughness and on that same token it showed that he might not be as complete as some think. A rematch is certainly warranted!

Yep Johnson is a tru fans fighter and is a opposite to Dawson. He gave Tarver and Woods a rematch after being through hell with them. If Dawson beats Johnson and Diacuno i think he had a claim to be top 10 P4P

Can't see Dawson moving down at 6 foot 3. Mabye make a catch weight to fight a big super-middle like Kessler. Kessler needs a fight like that cos he hasen't done anything since losing to Calzaghe.

Johnson deserves a rematch with Dawson. I dunno why and how Tarver deserves one.

Tarver has a rematch clause. I like Johnson, but I think it's ridiculous that he's claiming all these guys are running from him. Tarver fought him twice, Jones fought him when he was coming off a loss, Woods fought him 3 times I believe, and Dawson fought him when he didn't even have to. You won't find many undefeated fighters in Dawson's position searching out and taking a voluntary defense against a guy like Glen Johnson. A rematch is definately warranted. However, Johnson really doesn't bring much to the table right now. Because of this, Shaw is not going to try to make the rematch happen and HBO probably doesn't have much interest in the fight at this time either.

It could happen, it's more likely than perhaps we'd think. When Hopkins retires or moves up in weight, Dawson is #1, Johnson is #2. Ring mag title on the line. Chad can ditch the IBF belt, won't have to face mandatories like Clinton Woods. For overall marketability, Dawson might do well to get the very tough Johnson out of the way.

Johnson didn't beat him. Johnson had some great moments, but he couldn't put him down let alone out. Chad had more moments in the fight it's just that he looked stunned more than Glen did and it appealed more to the eyes more than the brain. Chad out boxed him...simply.
