Dawson or Jones Jr, which fight will raise Hopkins ATG status

    Roy Jones Jr, and Bernard Hopkins II would be huge, but would Hopkins fighting Dawson be better for raising Hopkins ATG status more?

    Dawson would be a better win to come school the young cat in Dawson would be a lot more impressive than what he did last night which was great

    Unless Roy beats JC, then Dawson would obviously be the bigger name on his resume.

    His next fight will be against RJJ/Calzaghe winner. Dawson won't bring a lot of money right now and still has a lot of time to progress and make sound as he rises.

    Yes, Hopkins beating Dawson absolutely improves his status more than beating a shot Roy Jones who's already been thrice defeated by inferior fighters. However, Dawson doesn't bring a payday, and why else is Hopkins still fighting and risking his long-term health at 43 years old if not to put some extra cash in the bank? Can't say that Hopkins is ducking Dawson, but that fight almost certainly isn't going to happen.
