Dawson sent hopkins a message !!!!

Dawson needs to make some noise in the fckn ring not on an internet site. Rematching and actually beating Pascal would be a first good step.

 

Hopkins seems pretty genuine in wanting to fight Chad Dawson. Why don't we just take what he says at face value for now. Would be a good fight and i look forward to seeing it. Hope BHOP can pull it off

 

Who the f*ck wants to see Hopkins vs. Dawson? Chad, his friends and 2 posters here who might be Chad's friends. Doesn't make the least sense, he was comprehensivly beaten by Pascal and looked average vs. B-level plodder Diaconu, he might qualify for a bogus WBC mando but not for the World LHW Championship. All he needs to do is to outperfom Hopkins in his rematch with Pascal and show he's a worthy challenger, something he failed to do in the past 12 months.

I do!!! It would be alot more interesting than any fight involving Dawson.

The guy is just flat out dull. He is fine taking a UD all the time. Doesnt press for a TKO ever. You are kidding yourself if you think he was on his way to stopping Pascal. Also i thin Cloud beats Dawson up and stops him.

Good post, I agree with you 100%. I was pretty much getting ready to post a response similar to this one prior to reading your response.

Richard Schaefer is on record as saying he'll be looking for "loopholes" in the contract that would allow Hopkins to face someone other than Dawson next. He claims it's because he believes it would be a "boring" fight.

 

Okay, that's what I figured he was getting at. I addressed this was a bit nonsense in another thread.

 

Bad style matchup for B-Hop, IMO.
Chad has -0- power but enough to keep Hopkins at a distance and move for 12 RDS.
I'd like to say Hopkins puts Dawson to sleep "Williams" style, but don't see it.

Dawson outworks Bernard in a very, very boring fight.

It seems to me that they're going to grudgingly accept that fight.

 

That depends on who the judges is and what their looking at if that scenerio was to take place. You can throw all the punches in the world but if the other guy is hitting you with more cleaner punches than your still not winning the fight. The name of the game is hit and not get hit. Now I know judges score fights like ameteur boxing at times but that's not how your score a professional fight. Lets not forget judges give rounds to fighters sometime when theuir losing too bad.
