Dawson should stop ducking Diaconu, prove his shaky chin and act like a man!

He was out on his feet for a good 10 seconds twice; the old man just didn't have the finishing skills to put him away anymore...

Diaconu should have to rematch Henry.

Henry done good in that fight but he is still raw. I like him as a future force in the division in two-three years, though, with proper instruction.

I would rather see Dawson v Tarver.

    Johnson v. Diaconu's a good fight too, I reckon.

In my opinion its the fight for the LEGIT LHW title:good
Diaconu has all the advantages in either fight and crushes them with quick ferocity:fire

I'm tired of hearing about this ... Dawson going to stop this guy ... Diaconu hasn't fought anyone as fast, as strong, or as skilled as Dawson.

This is a mandatory defense against a guy who hasn't did anything significant. He's the canadian champion ... nothing more

When these two hook up ... Dawson by stoppage ... through accumulation of punishment. Dawson's going to beat this guy to the punch and keep punches in his face w/ no response.

I'm also tired of this! I also want to see this fight over and done with!

Dawson's not tired of running, though...so...it might never happen!:conf

The fight will happen ... the reason why it hasn't happened yet is because Diaconu had to pull out due to injury.

Diaconu is the interim WBC Light Heavyweight Champion ... he's the mandatory for Chad ... the only thing that would prevent this fight from happening is if Dawson was stripped of his title or Diaconu went on to persue other titles.

...or, most likely, if Dawson dropped the belt to fight Tarver instead.

That wouldn't happen ... there's more prestige and lineage in the WBC belt than the IBF ...

Nah...belts mean nothing, as long as you have one.

Tarver is the better risk/reward fight for Dawson, even though he'd make less money than on a Diaconu fight. I would also say it's a lesser legacy fight than Diaconu, particularly since Dawson could fight both Diaconu AND Tarver...and then he'd be fighting to unify belts, rather than to drop one to duck his mandatory, to have a shot at another...

This Dawson hate is about as unhealthy as my Taylor hate, however, I am realistic about Taylor's level and you now underrate Dawson to the point where you pick a walking target like Kelly Pavlik over him and think that his power is lesser than that of Jermain Taylor. Downright absurdity.

And for the record, Johnson's a much better fighter than Taylor OR Pavlik. Johnson is aged, but he was ON that night, evidently visible that he was still all there in quickness, chin, defence, skill and will, the Johnson that showed up there would be very hard to defeat for many fighters, including the current version of Bernard Hopkins.
