Dawson should stop ducking Diaconu, prove his shaky chin and act like a man!

My point was Dawson was supposed to get beaten by Adamek...yet he beat him.

Dionocu isn't the guy to beat Dawson...sorry to say it but he isn't.

THAT SAID we won't know unless the fight gets made and Dawson's people and Shark's people should get to it.

No, the thing missing is that boxing is a career.

Dawson feels fighting Tarver is a better career move, regardless of the mandatory situation.

Who doesn't want to do whats best for their careers :patsch

True...What if Adamek fans had said: "**** Dawson, who is this guy anyway; let Adamek fight Briggs instead!":huh

It doesn't really matter, for me. Diaconu is Dawson's mandatory and he has the style and strengths to test Dawson where it really counts - his chin and mental strength. This is why it's a good fight!:good

Dawson feels Tarver is a better career move. Whats so hard to understand.

Dawson was set to fight him last year I don't see any reason he wouldn't be willing to do it again.

    Except for one.....A better offer.:deal

Ok, i'll go slow for you...

You work right? At work, you have rules for things you can and cannot do. These rules have be written sometimes for people who abuse, sometimes because it's a way of making it more efficient.

In boxing, the career boxing the way you like to call it, there are also rules. There are rules when you fight, and there are rules before you fight. One of these rules is... at some point, when you are a champion, which Dawson is, you have to fight the mandatory challenger of your sanctioning body, in this case, Diaconu. If you don't do it... you lose your title.

Same thing as in baseball for example. When you are in the playoffs... you fight the other winner of their association.

Or Tennis; You play the guy that won his previous matches.

See how easy it is to understand?:nut

So, stop all this talk about Dawson not ducking Diaconu. Or are you payed by Dawson to say he isn't ducking Diaconu? Is this your career?:huh

I, as a fan, will call Dawson a joke for ducking Diaconu because I want to see this fight!

End of story!:deal ...unless you want to continue sucking Dawson off (for free!).

This is how Dawson sees it:

Risk of being exposed by Diaconu as a weak chinned, weak minded flash-in-the-pan > reward of beating Diaconu and keeping his belt

A real man wouldn't try to have the status of his mandatory revoked. A real fighter fights his mandatories even if there's a better offer on the table.

Dawson is neither, and yet you keep sucking him off!:-(

Looks like he made you an offer you cannot refuse...!

I want to see the fight just like you do believe you me.

My point is if we're looking for someone to beat Dawson...this ain't the guy.

I think he has a better chance than Tarver does, to be honest, even if the Tarver fight would be closer.

If Dawson was passing on his mandatory to face some third rater than you'd have a point.

You do understand that Tarver offers a bigger and better scenario dont you.

I know you love you some Diacono so youre obviously blinded here but face it Tarver is a bigger oppurtunity.

Let me put this in simple terms for you:

    What is better?

    a) Tarver for the IBF title for around $600k

    or

    b) Diaconu for the WBC unified title for around $1,000,000 +

Tarver for the unified WBC and IBF titles for at least another $600k?

    Eh, Einstein?:huh
