Only a while ago McGirt was rated SO high, especially after Tarver beat Jones by KO then by UD in the rematch. Now he's taken as a joke, don't know if he's just bad or his choice of opponents is wrong.
Nah, that would only be worth doing if they held titles - just so they could **** over the entire division and split it beyond repair. People wonder why the LHW division is so frigging terrible now. Look back a few years and you will see where it started.
Well his choice in fighters isn't that great. He's either saddled with faded fighters past their expiration date or mediocre fighters with limited abilities. It doesn't help that his advice ranges from borderline absurd to absolutely hilarious. For instance he told Tarver to not go for a knock out and just look to score points in the 12th round. ....Now I'm no great trainer but if my fighter is down 3 or 4 rounds with 3 minutes to go, I'm telling him to unload the arsenal and leave it out there in the ring. Not to pop the job, look to score points and to make it a dog fight. By the way the unofficial "make it a dog fight baby" counter for tonight was at 8.
Personally I think the thread starter has the right idea. HBO PPV Presents "The Dogfight" at some random Vegas casino Main Event THE TRILOGY Antonio "Milk Dud Man" Tarver vs "Not So Bad" Chad Dawson Co-Main Event #4 to settle the score! Jeff Fenech vs Azumah "The Professor" Nelson
Now that would be just about the worst fight possible. ZzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ There is ZERO reason to think anything would change and a third or fourth or fifth fight is therefore comepletely redundant.
