Tarver is on the slide but not shot. People tend to forget about his power though, his style and tactics dont make him out to be a big puncher but I think this part of Tarver's game could play a greater roll in this fight than most think. He can certainly turn a fight with a punch, and take fight out of you with bodyshots.

He may well be the biggest puncher Chad has faced, at least the biggest puncher with the skills to land on him.

Does Erdei have a better chance at unification than against Tarver? I agree they'll keep milking, but he has been going on a lot about unifying...

Why do you constantly try to discredit Dawson? Look Tarver has good money, he's stable financially, he lives in a mansion. Dawson is a known name in the LHW division, that's why Tarver is fighting him. If he fought Diaconu or Erdie he would get less. Tarver will be in shape for this fight and if Dawson beats Tarver he will go after Diaconu's WBC belt. So please stop making it seem like Dawson is picking on an old wounded fighter, because he's not. Tarver is still a top 5 LHW and none of the younger fighters (like Diaconu) have stepped up to the plate and knocked him down the rankings. Of course that might change come October 11.

Dawson ain't gonna go after Diaconu's belt cuz the WBC mandates 2 fights for Diaconu:Branco and Johnson,so at least for the time they won't fight

Man I hope Adi can pull off those two wins, he earned his fight with Dawson. Branco is not what he used to be at 43 years of age, but I have a feeling we are going to be seeing Dawson v Johnson II instead of Dawson v Diaconu. :-(

Yup. In boxing you've got to take it one fight at a time, but I almost can't help looking forward to the war that will be Diaconu vs Glen johnson.

Most likely Diaconu vs Branco will be another war considering Branco has the tendancy to got to war and has a good chin.It will be a good fight, like everytime Diaconu fights:bbb

Yea...I think it will be a hard, close fight. Diaconu should win, though. Hopefully, he will learn a lot from Branco.
