Dawson, the next Calzaghe

    This dude has 27 fights and the only known names are Tarver and Johnson with whom he lost, and yet people are saying he is the best LHW in the world, This why has fought no one, he is not proven, he tried to prove something and lost, He is avoiding Diaconu, avoiding a Johnson rematch and fighting bum old man Tarver & calling out smaller opponents. He is waiting for big names fighters in lower weight divisions to fight like Calzaghe at 36 well past his prime, just like Calzaghe is doing although Calzaghe went up in weight, at least calzaghe had 2 guys from the Contender wish you people seem to find amazing.

    This dude is a joke, If he wants to be great please fight someone worth watching you fight



































    I am not being serious. Actually truth be told I am quite fond of Chad Dawson I like watching him box however the above is a satrical take on the below thread using the same context & language to push a skewed agenda & to highlight the bias shown here on Eastsideboxing by a minority of prejudiced people who clearly are not boxing fans and more patriotic pawns. :-(

    Good job for creating a funny, intelligent thread. Also good job for being a realist (as far as boxing views go). And mostly good job for not being a hater - that is truely refreshing on esb.

    Yes, people here do have their pet fighters and favorite enemies and will construct the most convoluted arguments to hype up or hurt their fighter of choice. What we have here is a bunch of lawyers, not boxing fans.

    To be fair Dawson is ahead of both Calzaghe, and Kessler relative to where they were on their resumes at the same amounts of fights. He is also searching out a big fight next, and looking for the p4p no3. Kessler, and Calzaghe didn't meet until they had had over 40 fights.

    ******, of course dawson is a bum hunter every1 knows he loves nothing more than a punch up with a geriatric...the guy wont move up in weight to fight real boxers...he wont move down to fight a better smw division...and he wont even fight any1 from his own division...hopkins...diaconu...rematch johnson etc he should just retire ...

    Trolls I tell you, nothing but a bunch of trolls.

    Chad signed to fight Diaconu, the Shark got injured, Chad moved on to fight higher ranked fighters.

    Chad fought an even fight with Glen Johnson and I'd love to see a rematch.

    Chad destroyed Tarver.

    Chad has beaten 2 top 5 light heavies, no need to hate on the guy.

    You obviously haven't read the right posts then.

    Because Diacuno getting injured means Dawson ducked him.

    Ask around there are a few who will enlighten you on the situation. :lol:

    3 top 5 LHWs(Johnson, Tarver, and Adamek). Harding was top 10 when Dawson fought him as well.

    I can't believe Chad is wasting his time fighting all these top fighters instead of fighting Diaconu.
