Pascal's promoter said there will be a Pacal-Dawson 2, whatever happens in the August fight. Maybe Bute can sneak between the fights...
That is going to be tough because Erdei isnt going to fight anyone. He seems to be following the road paved by DM. That is fighting bums. Bad thing is sooner or later one of those low level fighters is going to beat him, which almost happened a couple of years ago in his fight with Tito Mendoza. Cloud isnt going to fight Dawson, he wanted nothing to do with him before he signed with King, now its never going to happen. Look for Cloud to fight the likes of Lacy, fighters that are ranked from 30 to 15 and not go any higher until he is forced to.
The fight is August 14th and is a huge event. People loves the big events, have more entertainment $$$ to spend in August then they had in December and it's high season for tourism.

I really don't know. It doesn't make sense for Pavlik to move up for at least a year because of the tourney. He wants to position himself at 168 at the end of that. Who is Bute going to fight in the meantime?
I think Williams will get pushed into the fight by HBO. Mundine is hot to trot and there are always mandatories. HBO will probably put up good money to have Kelly beat up Winky.
Jesse Brinkley, his mandatory. After that, who knows. Probably someone with a decent name who's shot, mostly because nobody else is really available. A Jermain Taylor type. That said, outside of Williams and Martinez, there isn't money to be made at 160, unless Sturm can get out of that Universum contract, and some dangerous mandatories will start becoming due for him soon. I can easily see Arum having him vacate if Golovkin or Pirog is named a mandatory. Fortunately for Pav, they seem to be targeting Sturm and Sylvester instead.
Maybe Winky. Mundine isn't a legitimate option. He's never fighting a live body again. All sound, no fury.
I don't understand Sturm's situation fully, but it seems fighting his mandatory is a problem under his current contract. Is that why he is willing to face Kelly? Get a new 'unencumbered' belt? Sylvester? I think he will nurse his title for a while. Jack said his would be the easiest belt they ever picked up after Sylvester/Lyell. All that said, according to jsimps, Kelly just came into this camp at 186 and is now down to 180. They are talking about training in Florida to use the heat to help take off the weight. He also stated that some of the new weight is muscle. Well, easy enough to quote: He may not have much choice soon but to move up. But Bute as his first opponent at 168? Wouldn't be my first choice but the choice isn't mine to make.
