good news that dawson is fighting johnson again, but once this fight is finished he has to move on to the bigger career defining fights.

Wow, interesting turn of events. Can't argue with a Johnson rematch.

Good thing Clinton has that ''IBF champion'' tatto on his hand.
I couldn't see him fight for the WBO:D

I'm a little confused. Why would Dawson have to vacate to fight Johnson again? Glad HBO pushed for this one so much.

Either way Woods vs Cloud is a good fight in its own right.

Apparently, the Tarver rematch counted as Dawson's voluntary defense. Pursuant to the IBF's rules, Dawson now has 90 days to make a mandatory defense. Johnson is not the mandatory IBF challenger or a title holder. Cloud would never be apporved by HBO as an opponent for Dawson. Therefore, Dawson either fights Johnson on HBO for good money and lose his belt in the process, or he can take much less money and keep his belt in order to fight Cloud. He's opting for the money and the exposure of fighting on HBO against a guy everyone claims he's ducking.

    Smart move by Dawson.

Fighting the more proven Johnson on HBO for good money.

Or defending his title,w/o network money, against the way less provn Cloud.

Belts are a dime a dozen anymore and if he wants one I'm sure he can get a shot at one of them soon enough.

    Both fights are good fights.

Dawson-GJ was a good fight first time around and should be in the rematch.

    Cloud-Woods looks promising as well.

Maybe the winners could fight afterwards.

Because Cloud has been Dawson's mandatory for a year, and he still has no plans to fight him.

If Dawson wants to get the belt back, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Either Cloud or Diaconu would still love to fight Dawson.

IBF pushed it's mandatory(Cloud).Dawson wants Johnson so he vacated.

It seems like its HBO that wants Johnson and not Cloud.

If HBO would have approved a Cloud fight then he very well may have fought him instead.
