Yes I do pay attention to what I read and write. Anyways you have to admit, Cloud's power although is very good, is somewhat overrated. How many punches he landed on Woods, and he still couldn't knock him out. Also he didn't knock out a shot Julio Gonzales, it was stopped because Gonzalez was getting a beating. I think if Cloud were to knock out Dawson, it would be from accumulation, not one shot, and with Dawson's skills and defense, I don't see it happening.

No, I don't have to admit his power is somewhat overrated! ... But seriously, I'll say this: I'm not against saying Cloud's power might be a little bit overrated. I'm not a Cloud fanatic. His KO percentage may prove to be overly flattering but that's true of most young punchers who have had so few fights. Like you said, he's obviously at least got good power, it's hard to gauge considering most of his quality of opposition. That's fair. But I do suspect that he will prove explosive no matter the opponent or the outcome. I am admitting that this hasn't been proven with just a fight with an older Woods. I think Woods was well preserved for his age and the miles on him but it might look differently in retrospect with time.

As far as saying he didn't knock out Gonzales? A technical knockout is a knockout, my man...and against a guy that hadn't been stopped in 46 pro fights. I know what you mean about the accumulation though but give him some credit. The power was enough to rock the hell out of Woods and he came close to stopping him. That he didn't wasn't a revelation about not being as powerful as he's touted to be since Woods takes an amazing punch. And it's not as if I'm saying Cloud would knock Dawson out, only that I'd give him a good chance. It would be a lot harder to do against the cagey Dawson that showed up last night than it would against the Dawson that fought Johnson the first time, but Cloud is young and he may be able to cut the ring off better than Johnson because of that youth, even though Johnson is a much better fighter. Young legs, fit for chasing if necessary.

dawson by some decision IF this fight will ever happen , which i don't have an opinion. dawson did prove he is brave with his picks and if he will have no better choice moneywise i believe he will take on cloud and decision him - SD or UD i don't know. i believe it will be a SD or a close UD. don't forget the johnson fights.

Bumped. I want to see this fight and I think now is the best time. Hopkins is going for Green, Cloud is undefeated and Dawson is undefeated. Neither have a fight scheduled. Cloud has Dawson's old title. ...I think it's time.

I just wonder if he'd be planning to do that bicycle act with Cloud like the second Johnson fight and if Cloud had what it took, young and game as he is, to chase him down.

Indeed this is a good time because Pascal is seriously injured and will probably be out for 8-10 months. And I stand by my prediction, Cloud will get a beating from Dawson.

Dawson will just nail Cloud with counters, it will just be a straight up boxing lesson.
