Cloud didn't win the title til the end of 09. Dawson still had unfinished business with Glen Johnson(even though I thought he beat him the first time). Pascal had the win over Diaconu and that's why that fight happened. Chad loses to Pascal. Pascal draws with Hopkins. Chad is promised the winner of Pascal/Hopkins II. ND in the first Hopkins fight so a rematch. Chad beats Bernard. The only time it could have happened was before Pascal, but Cloud wasn't ready. It should happen in the future though.
Cloud fought Glen Johnson on HBO. HBO could just poach Cloud away like they did Dawson and Ward if need be.
I think the Cloud-Pascal winner would be more attractive than Froch-Bute II winner, but Chavez is going to be moving up soon. Possibly as early as next year. If he can continue to make 168, he might stick around for that big money fight.
I'm really rooting for Dawson in this fight.. if he wins, he will be my third p4p best fighter if not 2nd........ maybe even first... if he beats Ward at 168, that would be pretty impressive.
