"I said; 'damn I've got to fight this cruiserweight again.'" -Hopkins

    Really?

    Ring weights:

    Hopkins: 183 pounds
    Dawson: 187 pounds

Classy press conference though. Dawson gave Hopkins insane amounts of respect.

Thanks for posting. Dawson was very respectful to Hopkins. This fight will make Dawson a lot more confident from here on out. He can now move on to guys his age and still win boring decisions. LOL.

You heard what he said "The most diffivult fight in his career... Stay motivated, maintain his composure... The guy doesn't fight like a 47 year old, I mean, I fought TARVER BUT TARVER WAS OLD..."

Also funny, since Dawson started at middleweight but chose not to drain himself, while Hopkins started at light heavyweight and chose to drain himself to middleweight in order to fight the top welterweights

He used to make 160 easily as proven by him coming in at 156 against dlh and 157 against Trinidad, also if he was 'draining' himself it would be even more of a great achievement....a fighter 'draining' himself for 10 years yet still unifiying the MW division and setting a record 20 defences :nut

Funny it was El radar thought that starting at Light welter, he could fight Marvin Hagler even after losing to Tommy Hearns at Light middleweight. Took a beating and never left the corner during 12 rounds eliminator against Mustafa Hamsho who could not put one punch accurately...

Hopkins made 6 middleweight defenses. Two of which were Carl Daniels and Morrade Haakar.

Had no idea you were so impressed by IBF title wins over the likes of Bo Lipsey.

You r so very stupid, he made 20 defenses when he beat Howard Estman and it's Joe Lipsey in a breathtaking affair against a top Middle!

And yet you're the moron who doesn't know that Hopkins became a champion against Trinidad. Oh sorry, I confused Joe Lipsey with fellow legend Bo James. And let's throw in Andrew Council.

He was already IBF and WBC Champ or the defenses count from the Trinidad fight. Man, just go see what Benitez did against the crude Hamcho... Nothing, never left the corner, punkass...
