Dawson uses unitelligent aggression and walks into right hands all night.

Gets frusterated, gets dirty, and loses a decision.

Hopkins finally realises he is too old to do this.

Christ he is nearly fifty! i DO HOPE HE GETS OUT ALIVE.

I think Dawson is mentally fragile and doesn't make adjustment's well. Hopkins win a UD.

dawson seems overconfident to me. People are looking too much into those 1 and a half rounds of the first fight. Neither fighter was doing much and both were fighting anxious. Its obvious to me dawsons gameplan relies on activity and energy. I just dont see him being able to maintain it enough to outwork bernard the way calzaghe did. I see more of the same from hopkins; lots of lateral movement, make dawson paw and reach for his shots with good footwork and try and create openings for counters. Close UD for hopkins for me

Hopkins comes out looking aggressive early on in the first round, throws a lethal right hand in which Dawson smoothly ducks under, a frustrated Hopkins then shoulder barges Dawson to the canvas where Bad Chad rolls under the bottom rope, carrys on rolling back up where the boxers made their entrance, past the dressing rooms, straight through to the car park where he gets run over and dies.

The question is can Hopkins maintain a work-rate that will frustrate Dawson? I don't think he will. Dawson will force Hopkins to work and be more active. I don't think Hopkins can just sit-back and counter. In the first fight you can see that Hopkins was already frustrated and was limited to what he can do. There is a possibility that Hopkins faked his injury so he can adjust in the next fight, like he did against Robert Allen.

I think if Dawson keeps up the pressure, I expect him to win by decision. We'll see.

my key question is can hopkins shut down dawson defensively (i think he can) whilst maintaining an offense of his own (this is where it could fall down for him). You could tell from the first fight what bernards game plan was and he always starts slow whilst sizing out his opponent. He cut dawsons workrate drastically. Everyone interview i see from dawson all i hear is youth workrate energy and sometimes thats enough but against b-hop its never enough even for calzaghe who had to adapt intelligently. I'm very confident bernard wins this

He didn't cut Dawson's workrate at all, Dawson was throwing 50-60 punches a round. Hopkins couldn't do squat in the first fight, all Hopkins could do was try to grind it out to a decision, and I don't think he would have last. So there is a possibility that Hopkins "found a way out" of the fight.

Unless Hopkins finds a way to control the fight, I don't think he wins. And Dawson isn't a boxer who waste punches or is bad defensively.
