I think this definately puts doubt on Dawson being the best light heavyweight.. I'd look for a rematch sometime in the future if Johnson doesnt retire.. Hopefully Dawson will get a fight against Tarver
I think that's exactly what the majority of people are doing. You're contributing nothing to that conversation with this, now, are you? Silly post.
I'm not trying to put the man down or insult him, what he did tonight was incredible.. I'm just being honest about what I thought of him before. BTW, Dawson still TKO's Diaconu.
The decision was not necessarily a robbery but the score was ridiculous. I scored it 7-5 for Johnson. I could live with 6-6. Thus I probably would not call the result a robbery. But definitely not a good decision. Dawson was hurt twice, maybe three times. Johnson was never close to being hurt. Johnson continues to have poor luck with the judges.
Yep we as well got to many conscienceless people running things and to many wussies letting things slide:twisted:
If it's a bookie, go get your money. If it's bets with your buddies, show some decency and cancel the debt. Dawson didn't win.
I can see Dawson winning a close decision, but 8-4 Unanimously was CRAZY.... Chad doesn't take punches well either for an "elite" fighter.
Kind of shitty that Chad was so callous in shrugging off a rematch. What's he got, maybe 2 or 3 more big paydays at LHW? Then maybe some cashouts south or north? What's his hurry to "move forward", exactly? Wouldn't a chance to silence the critics and put in an even better effort to beat Johnson by a legitimately wide margin be an even greater potential boon to his record than, say, one of the other guys fighting tonight?
