Well Pascal needs all the time he can get to be 100%. I see Dawson winning by UD but won't be surprised if Jean gives him a hard time.

Damn I don't know the last time I've seen bad Chad. I think he'll win UD

I wonder if Dawson will take a tune up before then? but good that we get to see the top too young guys fight. Now lets hope that Cloud beats Johnson and then finally we can be rid of the old guard.

Oh wow, so Dawson goes from fighting once every 6 months to once every 9 months. Awesome. And they still can't figure out why he isn't becoming a star...

Seriously. I understand Pascal needs the time for his shoulder, but Dawson should at least take on a stay-busy fight. He understandably wants the big fights, but he needs to understand that most fighters with a good fan following build their fanbase by beating up bums in impressive fashion. If he can only get 2 big fights per year, he should at least work in two B-level opponents so he can get some highlight reel material and start making money.

But anyway, I think it should be a good one. Pascal will bring the pressure like Johnson, but he's much younger and should be able to last the whole fight and catch up with Dawson from time to time and make it interesting. I won't predict a winner this early.

I hope he does take one, I haven't seen Bad Chad in a while now. And I honestly think that Johnson's gonna be a big speedbump for Cloud to get pass.

Not surprising considering Pascal's situation. But Dawson should at least have a stay busy bout in the mean time.

As soon as he does that yall will just start criticizing him. Yall already attack him for fighting Tarver, and Johnson calling them old and stuff.

I'll never criticize him for fighting more often as long as he stays after the big bouts. He'd only need to do this for a year or two and then it'd be easier for him to get 3-4 big fights per year and no tune-ups. Once people start seeing highlights of him dominating people, they'll tune in to watch him, and the guys he wants to fight will be induced to fight him. For now, he's too good and too unknown, which is a really bad combination. Ask Calzaghe about it ;)

Nah. There's ranked guys he could beat the hell out of....Shumenov, Brahmer, Cleverly, Diaconu, Murat, Uzelkov, Erdei, etc. He could even take on some guys at cruiserweight. Not every fight has to be a Cloud, Pascal, Hopkins, etc.

As long as the opponent is ranked and semi-decent, you can't criticize him for cleaning out his division and testing the waters at cruiserweight. Really, anything's better than nothing.

    P.S.
Calzaghe slapped the **** out of some good fighters...And when he couldn't get big fights, he cleaned out his division. Dawson's in a much better position because a lot of people have actually heard of him, so he won't need to worry about getting stuck fighting B-level guys. But beating somebody up in between your big fights isn't a bad thing, so he should do it since he's got so much free time.

There's not much for him at LHW...he could really do well switching between divisions. Neither's great, but if he can consistently dominate them both he'll definitely have a good legacy. Hell, Adamek's a heavyweight now, why can't Chad make the move sometime ;) The heavyweight division could always use some life...
