:huh Roy can make SMW easier than Dawson, Dawson is taller and still growing into his body. Jones has a small frame, he should've been a career SMW.
Tell that to Montell Griffin,Virgil Hill,Richard Hall,Eric Harding etc.all those in their primes:deal
Then can you or someone else explain to me how Jones would beat him in a logical, factually correct manner? If you can i'm open to changing my mind, can you say the same? Looking at both fighters on their merits i pick Dawson to win, i've explained why and i can delve deeper if you like. Dawson is beatable like everyone is, Roy Jones included. There's no such thing as an unbeatable fighter. don't believe the hype, look at styles, strengths and weaknesses. Roy Jones at 175 vs Chad Dawson, Dawson wins :deal
He couldn't hurt Harding, Hall was garbage, Griffin got rushed when he was cold and was overwhelmed. The Hill shot was a great one but that was a once in a lifetime sort of punch, Hill didn't help by opening up his body and moving into the punch, got hit on the button.
 Ok you`ve just confirmed that your a 11 year old child who actually knows **** all about boxing. Lets leave it there ya clown.
Speed - Jones Power - Jones (Watch his LHW fights, Dawson has not stopped anybody of note) Defence (Jones) Combination punching, Dawson at LHW. But when have you seen Jones hit with a combo. Styles - Jones, he is very difficult to hit, and Dawson is not. Jones never ever had any issues with people who were easy to hit and had chin issues not one.
Kinda like the Tarver shot in the rematch huh? And that was against a clearly faded Jones. You're really making an ass of yourself right now and exposing your lack of any useable knowledge.
Speed- equal with Dawson being better when throwing combinations Power- both guys good, neither great Defence- Dawson easily, he might get hit more than Roy but that's what happens when you fight better competition in an aggressive manner while throwing 5,6,7 punch combinations. When Dawson worries about getting hit he doesn't get hit. Jones always played it safe from the outside and looked vulnerable on the rare occasions he would fight with guys on the inside. Stlyes- Dawson is taller and faster than anyone Roy fought, he would not have an athletic advantage over Dawson like he did with all of his opponents so he wouldn't have been able to play it safe, Jones had problems with southpaws and guys who could counterpunch (see Griffin, Harding, Tarver fights), Dawson likes to fight on the inside aswell throwing bodyshots and uppercuts, Jones wouldn't be able to see those punches coming as he's had trouble against much lesser opponents in close.
I didn't put down the guys i was talking about apart from Hall, but hey he was garbage. We were talking about power, stay on track here.
