... the best young US boxer at LHW and maybe in the whole boxing world above 168lb. Why he doesn't have any serious fan base and even the WBC likes more Hopkins than him? For me his mandatory ducking and praising easy money income with Tarver and Johnson seriously downgraded his popularity (which wasn't big anyway).
Bingo, no way in hell he should've lost to Pascal, he showed very little heart in there, he didn't even try until the end of the damn fight.
Dawson is one of the best talents in boxing but he has a lot of family problems going on right now. When he's on top of his game he's one of the best.
he doesnt have killer instict. in the pascal fight he rocked pascals world wit a uppercut n didnt go in for the kill. one good thing about him is he doesnt get inpatient and he sticks to his game plan n fights his fight. IMO i actually think dawson was going to knock him out and win the fite but the clash of heads happened n it had to b stopped n ended all hope .
Dawson is an example of the fact that great skills and great natural talent is not the same thing as being a great fighter.
Im a Dawson fan. Who are you saying he ducked? He signed to fight Diaconou, he pulled out and he fought a much better fighter in Tarver. If anything he should be commended for telling the belts to **** off and fighting the best guys available.
he really **** the bed in his last few fights and he is promoted by gary shaw who couldn't promote and sell a night of passion with jessica alba
Nobody really, just The best available light heavyweights of the last 10 years: Adamek, Johnson, and Tarver.
