Dawson - Zambidis - anyone go?

mate kickboxing is **** lol, in all seriousness does anyone have a copy of the fight i thought it would be a great fight? would love to see a copy? apparently it aint going to show on fox because tarak solak produced it for turkish tv only

 

zambidis is a lil power house i dont really follow it so i aint seen dawson

i thought dawson was robbed aswell i was kicked off the mike zambidis forum for saying so i heard some greeks say they didnt think zambidis won i had the fight 4 rounds to 1 for dawson he was robbed of his world title

 

yep ,close fight,mike had too much power and accuracy for dawson,hard clean scoring shots to head and body are what won the fight for mike .this fight was scored under a1 rules ,NOT MUITHAI RULES.:yep

 

you would have to agree under muay thai dawson would pick zambidis apart. i still think dawson won
i think a boxing match between these two would be interesting

 

Zambo landed the better shots, like someone mentioned it wasn't MuiThai.

 

Just as well it wasn't Muay Thai, it tends to be slower paced and more technical than most kickboxing matches. It's a bit like jiu-jitsu/wrestling, doesn't have a huge 'casual' fan base, definitely not as easy on the eyes as boxing is for the average onlooker.

 

he probly would beat zambidis in muythai no doubt,cause mike aint a muithai fighter ,just like mike beats him in boxing and kickboxing,but dawson is a kicker and boxer and still lost ,zambo struggles with knees and elbows thai style cause he is so damn short ,hes only 5.3 so every one who fights him tries to use knees to win, his head is very low to the ground .that just shows how good mike realy is .id love to see mike box vs dawson ,but im so sure that mike would knock him out, no knees and kicks to save him from mikes hands. mike is world class boxer.

 

Time for Mike Zambidis to step in the boxing ring then.
It will be alot harder for him then u think Sparta mate.

 

its way harder then people think, its easy for mike to land punches on someone like gurkan ozkan who has no defence for boxing, or no reflexes like a boxer because during a fight but against someone with more class they will get murdered, i.e. i couldnt picture mike zambidis coming close to like a daniel dawson type fighter but maybe he can get to ryan waters for that fact..... i even think junior would be too much for him

 

Tarik Solak is the reason why people don't like kickboxing. this guy runs the sport into the ground.

 

Exactly. I think Zambo would have his work cut out just tryin to beat an Aussie or regional champ let alone anyone better.
A match with Waters, would no way be an easy night for Zambidis.
