The atmosphere was terrible for the first 5 rounds of the Joshua fight - I could literally hear a pin drop :risas3::risas3::risas3: ****in DAZN, that was inexusable!

Queensbury have released a ringside video on their YouTube of the Joshua v Wallin fight. It was like one of the fights during covid where you could hear people talking in the background.

It was a very enjoyable card, Rummy.

I remember a similar type of card put on by Don King about twenty years ago which featured

    Cory Spinks v Ricardo Mayorga
    BHop v William Joppy
    Zab Juda v somebody ?
    Travis Simms v somebody ?
    John Ruiz v Hasim Raman
and a couple of other fights.

I'd like to see more cards that featured more than one big fight, and in multiple weight divisions.

    Happy New Year !

    Parker never coasted.
He was constantly looking for quick smashing rights

That's one of the reasons Wilder looked so uncomfortable and gun-shy

I sort of recall that card, Don King actually often put together some good ones, dare I say "stacked" (especially in a more modern context).

I have not seen Spinks-Mayorga since it happened, but I recall believing Mayorga had a strong case in that one. And I don't think Mayorga was ever quite as determined and dedicated after that loss.

    I 100% stand by what I stated.

"Parker completely neutralized that right hand, and otherwise coasted by being consistent and almost always having a positional advantage."

I guess I just don't like the word "coasted", my friend

All fight Parker looked like a sprung coil, ready to pounce on Wilder with heavy shots in a split second

He was like a panther stalking his prey.

Yes, the judges were, IMO, biased against the 'bad boy.'

Ref too, he took a point or two that would have changed the result.
