Dont understand why so many only had Joshua winning a couple of rounds. Had it pretty much even up to the stoppage.

This. Povetkin was done. I knew Povetkin would give Joshua a tough fight like Ortiz gave Wilder, but like Ortiz he ran out of steam due to age and got taken out. It just goes to show how impressive Foreman was at being able to be as successful as he was in his 40's.

Are you sure? Wilder has looked **** vs much worse fighters than Povetkin before the KO.

 

A younger version of Povetkin would have defeated Joshua.

Even at age 39, he won all or most of the early rounds.

Povetkin gave it a good shot. I knew he had to do it within the first few rounds and he came close but credit to Joshua for showing a decent chin and resilience.

For what it’s worth, Wilder destroys Joshua. Also Hughie Fury would completely school Joshua and potentially knock him out late.

 

Povetkin's trainer Kirpa was jumping in and waving, so good stoppage.
Both guys showed up, very exciting fight.
