At the end Joshua won emphatically, Povetkin gave AJ a whole heap of trouble in the earlier rounds, but anyone who knows about boxing knew Povetkin would.

 

That punch that dropped Povetkin had some SPITE behind it.

 

Excellent fight. Well done AJ and Povetkin for the spectacle.

 

This is only like his fiftieth fight either pro or amateur. For a guy who only took up boxing 10 years ago, he can box pretty well.

 

And viceversa. AJ hits hard as hell too. Wilder is not taking his power.

 

Once he started laying back I knew the writing was on the wall. I had the
fight even, but Joshua had clearly taken the later rounds up to the ko.

aside for maybe one guy here everyone else had Povetkin ahead. but all it took was one shot.

 

Joshua doesn't have the same kind of one punch knockout power and Wilder would be the first to land heavy shots, have you seen how ponderous Joshua looked ?

 

It won't be Wilder that I can tell you lol.

 

Povetkin is the best technician in the division and Joshua has a lot to lose, hence a tentative fight from Joshua. No surprise Povetkin had success. Joshua keeps winning funny that.
