Are you insane? If you follow other sports, especially football then you are getting far better value with sky.

As long as it was under 13 boys and not under 16s. We get enough mis matches with the boxing.

Have they made the goals and pitches smaller for women yet? If not it may as well be called ‘who can have all the time in the world to kick a ball higher than 6 foot over a 5 foot person who is allergic to jumping’

Any 10 year old can do that with that much time and size goal to aim at. £2 well spent.

Not at all. That wasn’t the point I was making. I was replying to this
    comment...

With Top Rank now on Sky and hopefully domestic cards in the future along with C5 there's absolutely no reason to tolerate Eddie's mismatch farce cards let alone pay for them.

I was simply making the point we all seem to have rose tinted specs that Matchroom are the only ones putting on mismatches. Truth is in the UK they work with a lower budget but the fact have had some very good fighters hear over the years seems to be forgotten. Throw on top Top Rank etc have more champs than UK Matchroom as they have a bigger budget. However Matchroom US have probably had one of the best schedules in boxing over the last few years.

I wasn’t referring to football at all. I follow the football but currently pay close to £50 a month for Sky and £1.99 for DAZN. The only Sky content I follow is the boxing and the football but the value isn’t great given you have to pay for BT to get the other half of the content. Who’s boxing content is often woeful.

I think people give Matchroom a hard time but if they start putting on decent cards in the UK and more title fights I’m all for it. They have a fairly young stable that will need to be built up, but the likes a buatsi vs Bolotniks is a step in the right direction

This is just filler that is free on YouTube but will get eyes on the dazn brand.

But dazn does have a issue with its total lack of sport in the UK outside of boxing. You'd have to think matchroom sports will eventually end up on there in some form but the darts rates well on sky but how many would jump ship for it?

They will do what they did with the boxing and buy the worldwide rights and spread the cost over multiple markets

Honestly they should just stick to boxing.

One of the major turn offs of Sky Sports is you pay a fortune for a bunch of sports you'll never ever watch. Looks like Dazn is going down the same route. Not interested.

There isn't enough boxing fans alone to make a boxing streaming service profitable let a alone enough content to make it anyway value for money.

The only sport in this country which could be a successful streaming service like that is football. No other sport could run a streaming service and make money.

I think DAZN need to add other sports to widen their subscriber base. Difficult to see what would draw punters similar to boxing apart from UFC.

Imagine if Len Blavatnik gave the DAZN USA money to somebody like Bob Arum or Al Haymon.

DAZN USA would be a serious player in the US.

    They ****ed up badly.

Haha yet they have the biggest draw in US boxing on their platform. Not just Crawford against a fringe guy.

DAZN decided not to have a country based focus. And turn their attentions to a global output

But it won't stay at £1.99 once it's been filled with womens football, netball, drone racing etc.
