No, you don't need some Amazon connection thing to watch DAZN on your non-smart HD TV. That's as much disinformation as those saying you have to watch DAZN on your phone. I have a landline phone, refuse to ever own a mobile phone much less a smart phone, don't want a smart TV, and don't trust wireless technology in my home. I stream DAZN on my wired internet connected desktop computer, and use an HDMI cable to connect to my dumb HD TV. It ain't hard, and shouldn't be kept as a big secret while other third party services are pushed.

I wasn't selling Amazon, just noting that's the way I have my TV/internet set up.

Couldn't you just use a decent VPN to sign up to Dazn if you were in Britain ?

I am paying for DAZN. I was ignorant about watching apps on my smart TV until this and it's pretty easy.

I am not paying for ESPN+ though, even though it's less. Just doesn't have enough for me yet.

I like DAZN so far - it's great having fights every weekend. But they need to work on how you start the event. I usually record fights and start watching them after they start. If any part of the DAZN event is still going on when you select to watch it, it throws you into the live broadcast without an option to Start From Beginning, least on my TV (<1 yr old Samsung). This past weekend during Regis Prograis Baranchak, I tried manually rewinding to the beginning, but after I paused once and tried to 'continue', it popped up to the live feed again and ruined the ending of a fight.
