Reshat Mati looks very good too, though he does get hit a little too much. Was his debut though. A couple of real good prospects for Matchroom, hopefully Nkosi calms down when he comes again.

 

Anthony Sims Jr. just reminds me of a much more well spoken James Toney with his style. I know it's not a complete mimic of Toney's but so smooth like he was born to be a world class boxer, just thinks the game differently. The way he throws, then rolls and slips with shots, the power, the kid is going to be a champion and honestly I see him on p4p lists within 5 years when he starts getting matched against the elite. Hearn mentioned he would like Sims to go down to 168, that might be a good idea, he's good enough in another couple years he could rule SMW imo.

 

Sims Jr beat Groves up in sparring (i know he is a LHW but still...), he is a great prospect. I can see him fighting for a title soon.

 

Adamek/Miller was pathetic. Adamek has no durability of any kind anymore and should retire. Miller needs to stop feasting on old men.

 

Sims Jr. is pretty small for a LHW, think he weighed in at 173. He would be just a good sized SMW, maybe a cut down would be a good idea his opponent in this fight looks much bigger than him.

 

After finally really watching the first round, Sims Jr. is even better then he was last time out. This kid is the goods, the magician is a good name for him, but man he could carry the name Sugar and do it proud.

*edit* Also, that should have been a 1st round KO, that body shot was no where near low. That ref must be blind, allows the camera guy in the ring during the round because he thinks it's a KO stoppage, doesn't say nothing. I tell you what else Aguilar was done, the ref didn't do him any favors by calling that shot low and allowing the fight to continue.

 

Mora is high again, Tommy Hearns was every bit as smooth and fluid a boxer as Ray Leonard was or Marvin Hagler could be.

 

I got McCaskill losing the first 3 rounds, though round 1 was a tossup.

 

By the end of Farias vs McCaskill Sergio Mora already sucks again. He's just not a good commentator.

 

My boy Danny Roman really looking the boss through 5 rounds.

 

Roman has tuned McDonnell up in the 5th and 6th especially. Kid just keeps getting better and better everytime I see him.

 

His loses & draw were when he was still learning. The draw in his second pro fight in 2011, the first loss in his 4th pro fight in 2011 to a 5'11" Super Flyweight Danny's 5'5" and it was a split decision, and his second loss in 2013 in his 11th pro fight in a fight that could have went either way. He's undefeated over the last 6 years, and 7 of his 10 KO's have come in that time AKA against better competition. I pick Danny to beat Dogboe everyday. It's Rey Vargas and his 71" reach that I would find more concerning, as Rey is a much better boxer than McDonnell & Dogboe skill wise, and has much more pop on his punches than Gavin and could jab his way to a win over 12.
