What do you think about the aerial view?

don't like the aerial views at all. seems to take u away from the action.

the close up shots suck too. i dunno about anyone else, but i like to be able to see the boxers' use of their legs, otherwise i can't fully appreciate their footwork.

    I couldn't agree more
And I also don't get why they zoom so much on fighters upper body. So much that sometimes they end up filming the space in between fighters instead of the fighters themselves
It makes no sense since people have much bigger TV now on average than before! They should show both fighters and their feet in general and close up when someone gets caught on the ropes or when they start throwing combos

Call me picky but the aerial view kills the experience for me. It’s just not a pleasant angle to look at, i dont know why they keep doing it.

I like DAZN matchups but these are the kind of issues that separates them from HBO.

they probably think they're being "current" or innovative.
They need to keep the aerial shots primarily for multiple angle replays (between round highlights and the like). they're drone style shots so overused it's painful.

people need to start a petition or contact the producers directly or something. lol. i'm not even kidding. I bet we arent in the minority in thinking this. No one wants great fights tarnished by crappy camera angles.

DAZN all around production sucks. I just ripped them a new one in a email I sent, about them being dictated to by the UFC starting a PPV king fight late because of a UFC fight. I called it a abomination to the rich history and tradition of this great sport and a sign of weakness in a brave sport we all love. I'm sure I won't get a response back but as a subscriber I felt I had no other choice but to let them know that what they pulled on Saturday was embarrassing and should never happen again. I urge others here to do the same.

not just the camera angles... how about the lack of production? Did u see how ugly the arena was?? it looked like a high school gym. American boxing events in general lack production. who remembers the klitscko fights in Europe? man they had light shows, 3d effects, lasers, presentations.. etc... even the WBSS tournament had some set design. even the Kovalev Yarde fight in RUSSIA lol was wayyyyy better produced than DAZn last night...

and how can u forgot the 1 hour we had to wait for the fight to start, and we got to watch Kovalev sleep on the couch... thats some great content right

that's the thing to do, people need to let their voices heard, preferably en masse. in that particular case though, i feel like their profit motives trump our concern. the only way they'd seriously heed our calls to not cave in to competition is if enough people boycotted their service in protest. the camera quality thing fortunately isn't subject to money concerns.

very good point. these major events should be spectacles. it makes the events more memorable (especially to the people watching in person who paid good money), particularly in the event that the actual fight lives up to the hype of the build up. it would bring some extra credibility to the sport too.

there's so much money involved they should be perfectly capable of pulling it off.

Every time I watch dazn there seems to be an issue with artifacts. Artifacts that are box-like pixel groups that somewhat resemble misplaced puzzle pieces in the frame. It's so bad sometimes that if the room is dimly lit I'll have to look away from the screen because it feels like I'm having a problem focusing.

The customer service route is DEAD. Recently complained to Cheesecake Factory about an ant being in my salad, horrendous customer service, and my steak being cooked wrong — twice in one night — and my meal not being comped as a result. Called corporate and emailed them. They did nothing. Not even a gift card or anything. The way now is through social media.
