DAZN/Channel 5: Harlem Eubank vs. Miguel Cesario Antín & Harold Scarff vs. Jordan Antonio Dujon RBR

Dujon coming on strong and steady, good 7th as well. Scarff coming a bit unglued, holding and then sweeping out light wool-gatherer arm punches with both hands.

 

Scarff finds another wind and closes the show, piling on heavy right hand leads and pulling Dujon into headlocks with his left arm. Dujon battling in, head down, clapping the body where possible, but Scarff taking long steps outside and tapping him with the jab, utilizing his reach advantage now more so than speed & work rate as before.

I've given Scarff all but the sixth & seventh, for a final score of 78-74.

UD for Horrible Harry Scarff (who gets a discordant "there's only oooooooooone" chant from the rather inebriated crowd at York Hall)

 

Scarff says he had fun in there, and felt a bit scrappy and rusty coming in after a year but glad to have shaken all that off. He says he came in with the intent of "out dogging" Dujon who had talked some trash in the lead-in, and says people are always surprised by how strong he is in the ring.

 

I think instead of Kelly, he should target the Commonwealth title (held by Louis Greene, over whom Scarff actually has a UD victory in his last outing before today... Greene defends versus Paul Kean sixth of May)

 

ODLH didn't even wait for the round to end that one time.
