Lebedev is thrusting & slashing his way in with a reed-clearing machete of a jab and scythe of a left. Lebedev is easily ducking the counters dropped on his skull by Wilson, catching them mostly on the clavicles on either side. Wilson is giving it a go, hacking as hard as he can muster with both hands, imposing himself tall over Lebedev, jabbing his way in close when they separate, but he isn't able to make any firm contact. Lebedev too slippery, and doing some holding now as well.

Wilson game & good for him he's made it to the end but Lebedev a class above.

Wilson deserves credit for adapting during the second half of the fight, he tried his best, but Lebedev was simply the better man. As for Lebedev, I wonder if he will continue to fight on Eddie Hearn cards and if so, I think we may see Lebedev vs Okolie sometime next year.

Lebedev has faced just about everyone at cruiserweight and is talented, too bad he never got much hype.

 

Lebedevs lost a significant step but still capable of a good boxing performance. Don't want to see him in against Gassiev again or any of the other top guys though. Arslan or even Wlod as a novelty would be cool.
