Emperor Eddie says the WBO are going to order Bivol vs his mandatory Marcus ''Hit 'Em When They're Down'' Browne next and that's a fight Eddie likes and wants to make for Bivol later in the year (probably August).

These damn tv contracts ruin boxing
Also constant promoter to promoter squabbles.

There needs to be an overarching organization to oversee boxing who could make these promoters and tv orgs come to agreements on cross-network fights....else will never going to see Fury vs Joshua or Bivol vs Kovalev

Bivol controlling of range, distance and ring generalship is brilliant.

Bivol is putting together a decent string of comfortable wins against solid oppostion in Barrera, Chilemba, Pascal amd Smith JR. Marcus Browne will be a good fight too, if Bivol beats him (which he should) I hope to see Bivol in some unfications fights next year.

To be fair, you might have fallen asleep during it. :sisi1

I like Bivol and still think he's the most skilled light heavyweight, but if you put somebodh one-dimensional like Average Joe in front of him, you're not in for an exciting night...

The boring tag is well-earned (he's like the Greg Popovich coached San Antonio Spurs - dull but effective), I think Bivol will need a certain type of stylistic foil to liven things up. Kovalev would make it fun.

I agree, Bivol belongs at 168, he's giving up a lot of weight at LHW, I would love to see him vs Benavidez at 168. It would be very interesting to see Bivol against someone who would really push the pace and force him to let his hands go. Bivol is technically brilliant, great distance control and timing. He can be a little boring at times, but man, can he box.

Just watched it Spot on brother. And ya, unquestionably the most skilled LHW in the world, which is no small feat considering he's above guys as skilled as Kovalev and Gvozdyk. How 'bout them Celts?:headbang:

Bivol might be really good but his resume isn't that good. Pascal is about done with boxing his not shot but he's about done. Chilemba is more durable than anything... Smith was a test bivol chin fight or welcome him to DAZN..

it does seem Bivol has a good gas tank and that's where he could be trouble for Kovalev. but it's still a 50/50 fight and that's because Kovalev I feel isn't as good as he used to be.

Way behind Kovalev's, sure, but comparable with probably anyone else's. Who at light heavyweight possesses a better handful of wins than Barrera/Chilemba/Pascal? Short list, no matter whose case you want to argue.

Bivol has p4p level skills... He's just a great natural talent. His one drawback is he doesn't have the size & power of a lot of the 175 guys but I don't see anyone outboxing him! He's elite. We are blessed with an incredible stock of LHWs... Even guys like Callum Johnson who make up the tier below are talented fighters. Big fan of him too..

He hurt him in the 10th, that's it.
Well it's not Bivol's fault that his opponent was a caveman :risas3:

Yes if Bivol can't hurt you then his fights can be a bit of a letdown, but again he's a blown up SMW.
Im positive if he moves down he will hurt every single guy at 168.

He said he'll only move down to 168 for a big fight ie. for a belt or a big money fight against a Clenelo for instance and that by being open to fighting in both divisions creates more opportunities for him to secure a big fight. His main goal is to unify at 175, though.

Bivol and Benavidez have sparred each other a lot. In fact, they did so as recently as last month. It would definitely be a great match up a little further down the road
