    Round 12 Moloney 10-9

Moloney goes to work, whacking the body, eats an uppercut, he took it well, accidental headbutt opens a cut on Moloney, they go toe to toe ripping each other with hooks, harder shots coming from Jason, Manny holds, left hooks raining down on Manny, Manny fires back, more hooks to the body from Moloney Moloney is banging away landing flush hooks up top. Moloney pins him on the ropes, Manny holds, vicious right hook from Moloney to cap off the round.

    116-112 Rodriguez

115-113 is fine as well. If that had been a 15 rounder, Manny would have been KTFO>

Huge 9th round for Brant, who boxes well and then sends his foe's head rocketing back on his shoulders with a sweet straight right. Murata tries to come back and spam the right but drops another round on my card.

Not a bad effort from Moloney and hopefully he learns from this experience and can win a world title down the track.
I think Moloney and his brother not fighting overseas against decent opposition before now, cost him early in this fight with Rodriguez outclassing him and racking up those early rounds.

Young vs Soto turned into a good azz fight. It started out looking like a blowout/possibly early stoppage and a blitzkrieg of speed by Young for the first 3 rounds. The hand and foot speed difference was crazy, you didn't know if Soto was even going to land one solid blow. Then Soto adjusted his gameplan and got on the inside, Young looked like he had slowed down by the 4th & Soto reeled off 4 straight rounds. Then Young got his second wind and pot shotted Soto like the first 3 rounds over the last 3 to win comfortably in what turned out to be a fun fight.

Only 1 minute into Tapia vs Perez but Tapia is looking good, pretty sharp, definitely fired up. Hope he doesn't gass by the 4th round with all that nervous energy.

I had Moloney winning this by at least 7 rounds. Completely outboxed Rodriguez inside and out. Quick combos on the outside, tied up Rodriguez when he needed to, then Rodriguez was so static in the inside fighting, Moloney was able to offload combos to the ribs and get out of there. Sorry CST80...really not sure what fight you were watching.

I said 115-113 was fine, 114-114 wouldn't be egregious either, but to give Moloney more than 6 I think is a stretch. I like Moloney and was rooting for him actually, but Manny just landed the cleaner work for the majority of the first 6 rounds.

97-92 Perez Tapia burned up a **** ton of energy and was spent by the 5th. I predicted he would be gassed by the 4th, using all that nervous energy but he had a decent first 2 rounds. There have been many really good fights tonight, and I've only gotten through the Warren card and am too the Dorticos fight on the WBSS card. Still a few good scraps to go from what I've read.
