Nah I don't think so. I reckon it's a case of they've been mates for years and good mates don't make good trainers. He's too close to Brook to either realise or tell Brook where he's going wrong. Brook thinks he's had the best camp ever because his mate has been blowing smoke up his arse for 12 weeks.

 

I'm not even watching the fight, is the male stripper actually winning rounds.

 

I think it was written into his contract that he had to say that line.

 

Lost all except for one on my card. In the 9th round the stripper landed a three or four punch combo and Brook went back onto the ropes eating the punches. Was shades of Degale-Truax. Brook constantly getting tagged with right hooks.

In the final round Brook went all out for a moment to try to stop the stripper. Stripper boy fired right back and Brook retreated for the rest of the round, didn't dare push for the stoppage after that. He was definitely stunned a couple times.

 

What a **** show.

 

I thought he looked considerably worse than he did against Rabchenko. Apart from the Jones, Spence and GGG fights I've never seen Brook take so many clean hooks to the face. Brook is usually quite elusive.

 

Yup. Hearn fed him to the lions and took at least 3 years off his career in the process.

Also I watched a DAZN broadcast. Joe Gallagher and some other British bloke were commentating. Both of them gained my respect because they openly admitted that Brook was finished and that the Khan fight would be a sad spectacle between two washed up boxers trying to cash out. Legit fantastic commentary from Gallagher. Unlike the stooges and shills Nelson, Froch and Macklin, Gallagher was brutally honest. I think Gallagher is a tit but I loved his commentary there.

That was the only fight I saw on this atrocious card.

 

Yup, lot of backside kissing there. Semi expected him to pull a Bellew and begin to kiss on Kell en masse
