Stalchenko just putting up the right jab, turning Rogava, flurrying high in spots after taking a few lateral steps in either direction on the outside.

Rogava is gassed but able to sap Stalchenko's strength on the inside by grabbing and leaning down on him.

It's very much heavyweight vs. cruiserweight, visually.

Stalchenko got in the cleaner shots in the final couple of rounds, but it was too late. He needed a KO and wasn't ever going to get it even with Rogava being fatigued. He's too small and Rogava too slick (and knowledgeable about when & how to clinch).

"60-54 is diabolical" says the color commentator.

Barak "Boxing Bully" Bess is 100% right. Rogava lost the last two, and the 6th big. Not that it mattered as far as the result, but the shutout judge simply DKSAB.

I'm picking Young to beat Gomes, Mullojonov to beat Krnjić, Rogava to beat Stone, and Łącz to beat Ramírez in the QF.

Then in the semis, Mullojonov over Young and Łącz over Rogava.

Mulljonov UD Łącz in the finals.

Kind of crazy that a guy I expected to get bounced in the RO16 now has a clear path to make the finals as the best remaining h2h competitor on his side of the bracket.

...and at featherweight in the quarterfinals, awaiting Muhamet Qamili will be Troy Aqealies Tichj Nash of the USA.

Troy "The Bank" Nash upset Zholdas Zhenisuly Zhengissov of Kazakhstan via shutout earlier today.

I don't see a date announced yet for the quarterfinals. I'd assume they will be in August, though, since Phase 1 took place in April.
