Here's a serious answer to a troll comment: There is nobody else in a similar position because Al bribed the guy at Waddell & Reed to invest millions of shareholder dollars in a setup no uncompromised manager would approve of because of how easy it is to abuse. Al gets the power to set purses & matchmake,, and since he's the fighter's manager, every time he overpays his fighters, he gets a bigger cut himself. He doesn't even own equity in PBC, so he literally has no incentive to protect shareholder capital. Which is how they got taken to the cleaners. For Al, it's all reward and no risk because he doesn't need PBC to be profitable to make a killing.
If they are getting extorted thats dazn fault for going the eddie hearn route and massively over paying guys. You over pay a little to get an edge on competition, when you start paying guys like you have bottomless pockets everyones going to take advantage
You have to buy in to the market they needed good content and a few headline stars all of which they have. The DAZN cards are far more stacked than anything on other networks. Hearn said from day one. Get in while the going is good as the purses will become more realistic once the brand name is built. What they will now do is keep what they have, continue to sign and build prospects and then only sign big names when they become available such as Mikey García.
Expropriating wealth from venture capitalists and investment firms is good. Ask FOX is PBC is profitable. Their PPVs have all been successful.
Yeh dazn has been good, but also they have done some terrible cards. I find they have done good main events, but alot of the undercard fights have been few have been dull. saying that i did love the estrada card, that was dope.
Lol less than $2 a week as if each week has any fights worth any value. The only way we get our value back is when Canelo fights.
