And unlike ESPN+ they have been adding new fights to their vault everyday, already have quite a few and growing.
Im from the UK so makes no odds to me... but out of interested does it have other sports content on there or just Boxing and MMA?
That’s interesting. I’ve been looking for info on this but haven’t found much. What kind of stuff do they have? I missed a **** ton earlier this year in the summer when I was on vacation and it’d be nice to have the Matchroom card I missed available lol
Yeah, boxing, mma, soccer, cricket, cycling, and something called AK & Barak I haven't watched yet. It looks like a 2 man interview team, they have a video talking to Joshua and another talking to Hearn. Plus a growing on-demand vault. It's worth my $9.99 so far, especially with all the cards coming up.
Haven't add older full cards yet, but Bellew vs Haye 2, Froch vs Groves 2, Klitschko vs Joshua, Burns vs Crawford, Whyte vs Parker, Joshua vs Parker, 101 Greatest KO's Vol IV, Chisora vs Takam, several Buatsi fights, several more Joshua fights, Crolla fights, Cordina fights, Selby fights, Katie Taylor fights , etc.
I want to get DAZN 'Dazone'. It's funny how Frank Warren teamed up with ESPN in a bid to counter Hearn/DAZN teaming up lol ... he described himself as an innovative promoter not a survivor yet he is one step behind hearn always loooool!!! That's surviving in my book. Plus DAZN is the future, just like Netflix was a success. Say goodbye to long contracts and fiddly tv boxes.
I agree, makes me wonder how long the nice and friendly relationship between Dazn and Sky will go on because surely if DAZN does what they say... it has a place in the UK market just like Netflix. I think eventually Sky will have to evolve into an online platform.
DAZN will not launch in the UK until they are in a position to gain rights for major sports. Think it's gonna be a a good few years before that happens.
They have a few and it actually shows the full fight, like Parker vs Whyte. My only gripe with the DAZN is picture a little grainy 9 but its slight ) and they do have some fights that do not show them in there entirety..... They also skip walk outs and in between rounds which aren't very important but sometimes I like to see what the corners are doing. Its well worth it if you are not in the U.k bc streaming is a real pain and struggle...watching on the app is way more convienent and I also follow MMA so that's a plus for me. Its not going to be great off the bat ...they do need to add a lot more fights to this and make exclusive in depth interviews and training converage to entice more boxing fans. Its a welcome addition if you can afford 10 dollars a month and think its worth it not to miss some fights you would otherwise as I have been doing.
Rumor has it Hearn outlined a plan after watching GI Joe and is structuring a Cobra plan below to take over entire U.s currency using DAZN platform.... This content is protected
If the picture is grainy in the slightest that needs to be top priority — streaming services that aren’t the highest degree of HD aren’t going to cut it in a pay subscription model. That’s a deal-breaker. For archived fights, they need to digitize the f—- out of them to it looks as much as possible like they were filmed yesterday with the best existing technology.
