Boots beats all the champions at 47, 154 will be where we see if he destined for greatness.

Safe to say that Boots is the best fighter at WW right now. I can’t see anyone at 147 that can beat him.

Great performance nothing but respect. Can easily be undisputed against Barrios and Norman. Needs to move up soon though

He did not lose 2 rounds. Outside of some good power shots, Stan was getting schooled and beaten down the whole time.

Let me reiterate this question since it was preempted almost immediately by a KD and then a corner retirement. :sisi1

This loss - mostly one-sided and culminating in a quit - isn't a great look, but honestly the pair of them are probably the most accomplished. (along with Olympic medalists Evaldas Petrauskas, Ričardas Tamulis, and Danas Pozniakas - bronze, silver and gold respectively)

If Ennis was taking flush left hooks from the likes of Bakhram Murtazliev at 154 it would be a different story.

Ennis hasn't been fighting any notable punchers and he's had a massive size advantage over all of his opponents.

Don't get me wrong i like Ennis and he has a nice eye pleasing style to watch but he's still hittable and i think a fighter his own size with power could exploit his defensive lapses.

Boring. Not Boots' fault. Just uncompetitive.

I don't know about 154. I actually think Vergil Ortiz Jr is still the fight to make. I have it 60/40 in favour of Ortiz.

The problem with the commentary is that Boots wasn't landing much of anything clean for most of those rounds, while Stanionis was landing the better and cleaner punches. Mora talked about schooling at a time where Boots did nothing but punch some gloves and showboat. Focus on punches, not posture. Boots is great when he is focused and trying to hurt his guy. The fight didn't answer much, Stanionis was disappointing. The fight should have just been starting, I guess the baby on the way has changed priorities
